The Rivoli Fire Protection District’s new Fire Station and Township Hall gives New Windsor’s volunteer firefighters and emergency responders a long-awaited home on Main Street, with a public meeting space for the community right next door.

Set along Main Street (Route 17), the new station was planned around how the district’s volunteer firefighters and emergency responders work. Five apparatus bays anchor the building, supported by a radio room, two offices, a kitchen, a weight room and dedicated storage. An annex township hall gives residents a public meeting space without interrupting fire operations.
To balance budget with longevity, the structure is a pre-engineered metal building. A modern exterior of stone and fiber cement gives that utilitarian core a durable civic presence on the town’s main corridor, so the station reads as a lasting part of downtown.
Funded by the Verl I. Brooks Foundation and local community contributions, the project was a long time coming for New Windsor. The Rivoli Fire Protection District celebrated the milestone with a station dedication ceremony on Sept. 19, 2026.
